We made a very last minute booking when winter weather prevented us from continuing our drive. The man at the desk (presumably the owner) greeted us by name and was fully ready to receive us when we walked in moments after booking. The lobby is welcoming with a fireplace and lounge, and there’s a mini mart stocked with ice cream, popcorn, headache medicine, etc. The owner was very helpful in providing us menus and recommendations for where we could get dinner delivered, and we had a pizza sent straight up to our room promptly. Wi-Fi was strong enough to stream movies, bed was perfectly comfy with crisp linens, and I appreciated the name brand shampoo and conditioner and the good blow dryer. We also enjoyed having some quick complimentary breakfast options (fruit and pancakes in our case.)

The location was excellent. We rode in on bicycles from the Erie Canal Trail and the hotel was only about 1/4 mile from the trail. Breakfast was very good, and it started at 6:00, which gave us a good start for the next day. We were allowed to keep our bicycles in a vacant meeting room. The room had nice accommodations: refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, TV, Heat & AC, and was very clean. I liked (and used) the decaf coffee available in the lobby.

This hotel was spotless! Front desk staff were very nice. The room was comfortable including the bed. Small bathroom but, fit our needs no problem. Definitely would come back. I also liked that they had coffee, tea and hot chocolate available all day.

The cleanliness of the property was very good outstanding. The staff was very helpful especially Lisa so she helped me check in and then the next night. I wanted to get something from the little market behind the register. She help me with that too.

The breakfast was great………real food like eggs, sausage & potatoes instead of just pastry. Also, we were very impressed with the hostess/receptionist! When we asked for a dinner recommendation, she actually called to make us a reservation!!
